At ProRocketeers, we have a clear set of values that capture who we are. They show not only in the software we build and the way we work with customers, but also in the everyday lives of our Rocketeers beyond their projects.

We do not treat the twelve ProRocketeers values as empty words on a website or in a presentation. We love seeing them turn naturally into real actions. Whether Rocketeers organise pancake breakfasts, LAN parties, chess and other tournaments, or guitar get-togethers, we are just as happy to see creative ideas take shape outside the world of software development.
One such idea came from our colleague Martin Hurník, a senior Java developer who has been part of the Rocketeers since February 2020. In his spare time, he decided to 3D-print almost a hundred letters representing our values. One piece at a time, inspired by the board game Scrabble, he created an original wall decoration. Since the end of 2025, it has adorned the staircase of the ProRocketeers building in Ostrava.
How did our values show up in this project?

Communication
Martin reached out with his idea and invited everyone to discuss it. No unnecessary processes, no waiting, he simply shared an idea that made sense.
Professionalism
This was not just a matter of “printing something”. Martin carefully selected suitable 3D models, tested materials, chose the right filaments, and approached the whole process with expertise and a focus on quality.
Learning
The project also involved plenty of learning: print settings, attention to detail, and the technical possibilities and limits of 3D printing. Continuous learning and improvement are a natural part of how we work.
Support
Martin got the green light from management. When we see an initiative that makes sense, we support it. We do not hold back proactive ideas, in fact, we encourage them.
Simplicity
We agreed on the design and the execution quickly and directly, without complicated approval rounds. Keeping communication and decision-making simple proved essential.
Freedom
Martin had a free hand in bringing the project to life. Trust and freedom matter to us, we trust the people we work with.
Determination
From the first idea to the ceremonial lighting of the finished piece, the project had a clear direction. Seeing it through and creating something that would become a lasting part of our surroundings took real determination.

Humanity
The project showed beautifully that we are not just a “productivity machine”. We are creative, full of ideas, and eager to make things that mean something and bring joy to the whole company.

Flexibility
The printing happened gradually, whenever time and circumstances allowed. We adapted as the project progressed and fine-tuned the solution along the way.
Playfulness
The Scrabble inspiration was no coincidence. Playfulness is part of our DNA, even serious things can be done with lightness and perspective.

Community
Values are not just an individual matter. Projects like this bring the company together, create shared experiences, and strengthen our sense of belonging.
Innovation
This is a unique solution you are unlikely to come across anywhere else. Combining 3D printing, design, and company values is a great example of innovative thinking in practice.

Thanks to Martin, we do not just live our values, we can see them with our own eyes every day. That is exactly how things work at ProRocketeers: values are not merely a declaration (now a decoration too), but a part of everything we do.
Thank you, Martin, and all the other Rocketeers!
